HOW IT WORKS

1. How to start?

Choose your city and the game mode. Pay by card on the website. You will have access to all the challenges in the city for a limited time — 1,5 hours or 24 hours. For big group events, contact us to reserve team building mode for a fully customized experience.

2. Play any time

You can start right after the purchase and play any time — any day, week or month! Although we recommend playing during daylight for a better experience. Just enter the activation code at one of our starting points. You will get the code on your email right after the purchase.

3. Choose places to visit

You will be able to choose your own route and visit all the game points around you! The only limit is the time! There are several places to start in each city depending on which neighborhood you want to discover — you can see them on the city’s page and we will send the list of starting points after the purchase too!

4. How to play?

You’ll get riddles on your phone, but you will need to look for the answers around you! The whole city is your playground and we have selected the best places to visit!

5. How many people can play?

The game is usually played in small teams of 2-5 people. The game will be downloaded to a single device. Therefore, if there are more than 5 of you, you will need to form several teams and use different devices, and pay for as many teams as devices.

6. What kind of questions and challenges are available?

We have created location-based riddles and questions about surroundings, puzzles and secret places, photo challenges, funny stories and city legends. Choose one or more categories and find questions on history/architecture/street art/local legends/etc.

7. Get a photo coverage of tour game

Participate in our fun photo challenges! All pictures will be sent to your email after the game — show your creativity and create great memories!

8. What happens in the end?

When time runs out you will be able to see your leaderboard, game statics and photos and compare them with other teams!

What if I can’t answer a question?

Don’t worry — just leave the difficult question and continue with another one! You can also always go to the “help” section and contact us via whatsapp. Send a screenshot of your question and we will help!

When can I play?

You can play anytime after the purchase, however we recommend playing during the daylight. Your code will be valid for 6 months after the purchase.

Loveliest experience! Make your corporate event exciting and playful We have hired in GeoCats for a treasure hunt game around Barcelona for a group of over 150 people. The founders we dealt with were very understanding and happy to create a bespoke event both in terms of length and area we wanted to explore. Game instructions were clear, the app worked well, their staff were always around the city to help and make you feel seen, but have not been intrusive at all, creative the lively flow of the game.Their staff dealt with the group professionally and were flexible to help with last-minute changes. The value for money seemed great to our client.The clients, even though from pharma sector and normally very business-minded looked like happy and competitive smiling kids after the playful experience.All I can say is I would recommend having this experience for both large and small groups - especially if you want to make a bespoke experience.

Great fun discovering hidden secrets in Barcelona We had great fun whilst playing the game and discovered some hidden gems in Barcelona that we would not have seen if it wasn't for the game! We highly recommend this for a team building activity but it can also be great to do with friends or on a trip with your partner as there are historical facts about each place!We will definitely be playing again!Thanks for a great experience!

Great Fun Challenge Thank you Antonina for arranging a fantastic Treasure Hunt for my business colleagues who are visiting Barcelona and needed a Team Building activity. This really helped with making connections in a fun way. We had 5 small groups and everyone was working together to work out the clues - each making suggestions and some guessing the answers - it was good fun. Also it was great that you could customise the route especially for us, as we needed to end at a specific time so that we could meet for a Group Dinner. Thanks again GeoCats!

Estupenda experiencia , muy recomendable Hace unos dias tuvimos una convencion de empresa en Barcelona con 100 compañeros procedentes de toda Europa . Hicimos una actividad con Geocats en el centro historico que fue todo un exito . La aplicacion es muy intuitiva y las diferentes pruebas crearon momentos muy divertidos ademas de dar a conocer lugares muy emblematicos de la ciudad. Equipo muy profesional , buena comunicacion y asistencia en todo momento .Todo un acierto.
